Highlights from #EAST2015 - Prevention of Gun Violence
Dr. Crandall (former County resident) and her subcommittee presented guidelines on Gun Violence Prevention -
Restricted Licensing of Firearms (eg background checks) decreases the incidence of firearm injuries in states with those laws.
Concealed Carry Laws are not supported as a strategy to decrease the incidence of firearm injuries.
