Highlights from #EAST2015 - Guidelines for the management of Pancreatic Injuries

Dr. Vanesso Ho and her subcommittee have the following recommendations for management of pancreatic injuries:

Conditional recommendation against the use of prophylactic octreotide to prevent fistula or shorten time to leak closure.

Conditional recommendation for splenectomy with distal pancreatectomy based on operative time and extremely low incidence of OPSI
