Rene Gallardo, RN and Ernie Purnell, RN received Commendations and will attend the American Association for the Surgery of Trauma meeting next month in Chicago. Rene and Ernie have demonstrated dedication to the trauma unit and exhibit leadership in their interactions with patients, families, other nursing staff and medical staff.

Gloria Hall, RN has been chosen for the John A. Barrett Trauma Nursing Award. She will be attending the Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma meeting this year in Orlando. Gloria was chosen not only for her 32 years of dedicated service to the trauma unit, but for her ongoing commitment to helping our patients turn their lives around.
