Competition Rules

Competition is open to general surgery residents, surgical specialty residents

and fellows with projects completed in Illinois.  Content of the paper

should describe original trauma related research not published before 3/21/13

Resident or fellow must be first author and presenter.  A mailing and email address,

and phone number for the presenter must be included.  Two papers from each

category will be selected for oral presentation at the competition.  These

presentations will be limited to 10 minutes.  Entries must be received by

Monday, September 17, 2012.   Please submit 6 copies of an extended

abstract or the electronic equivalent abstract to:
